Designer Caitlin Wilson and her husband fell in love with Dallas on a business trip, and within a matter of months relocated from Portland, Oregon. Caitlin had her heart set on a bright and airy home, so she initially brushed off this Tudor-style cottage located in the Highland Park neighborhood. “I didn’t think it would be my style,” she told House Beautiful. “It was a total surprise! Once I walked into the home, I was so inspired by the light and layout. I knew it had potential.” The couple, who were expecting their fourth child, scooped up the home and embarked upon a year-long, full-house renovation. The result is a pretty, pastel confectionery delight, and the perfect backdrop to the beautiful rugs, wallpaper, furniture, homegoods, etc. that Caitlin designs.
Let’s take a tour with images from the January/February 2020 issue House Beautiful and Caitlin’s Instagram account!
