For several years, I have been writing about how chintz is back in bloom, and I could not have been more delighted when I saw The Glam Pad mentioned by Vogue for my recent feature and Instagram posts on Bowood by Colefax and Fowler!
As Vogue explains, iconic Bowood, created by designers Sybil Colefax and John Beresford Fowler, practically has a cult following. Colefax and Fowler have come to epitomize English country house design style, a style Fowler is credited with originating in the 1930s. Here is a look at a few of Vogue’s favorite Colefax and Fowler–inspired Instagrams…

You can read my original post on Bowood chintz here. Thank you Vogue for including me! What are your thoughts on chintz, and are you happy to see it return? I am thrilled!!

Congratulations on being a go-to for Vogue. Always nice to be recognized.
All of these are so exquisite but your pic is my fave:)
I agree with you that chintz is coming back. I also predict the return of (drumrolllll), BALLOON SHADES!!
Congrats on the shout out!
Andrea,
Congratulations!
Perhaps this may lead to having a regular Glam Pad feature in Vogue?!

what Dean Farris said!
Stumbled on your blog – job well done representing the traditional side of decorating. A nice contrast to the grey and white of today. You have good taste in English homes!
