The latest issue of Rue features the glamorous New York City home of Melanie Duncan, and I am positively smitten. Melanie is the owner of Custom Greek Threads and Luxury Monograms. Just wait until you see the chairs she had embroidered with her family crest! And those inky black walls and gilt ceiling, ooh la la! Let’s take a look inside…

I love it all! Where to begin? Yes–the crest embroidered crests are beautiful! And that bar cart is perfection. I absolutely love the retro champagne glasses–I insisted on using them at our wedding! And the list goes on!: The gold rimmed stemware, the Greek key accents, the bamboo plates (Juliska?), and the lucite candlesticks! And of course I love all of the orchids 😉 Thank you for finding and sharing this very glam pad!

This home is right up my alley! Did you notice how she turned the parsons bookcase on its side? What a great room divider for the dining room. I'm loving the black and white stripes, always have, looks like I always will. Perfection……
