Jules Reid created her lifestyle brand in 2010 after a 10-year career as a stockbroker and a stint as an interior designer. While Jules splits her time between New York and Virginia, her playful designs have quickly become de rigueur in resort towns such as Capri, St. Bart’s, Martha’s Vineyard, and Palm Beach.
As an avid collector of vintage clothing, art, and jewelry from the 1950s-70s, Jules specializes in reinventing this glamorous era for today’s lifestyle. She is inspired by the likes of Emilio Pucci, Diana Vreeland, and Slim Aarons, in addition to her love of travel and her international background. Jules lived in India for over a year as a young child and in Paris during college. As a result, she has created a playful fantasy world of bold color, unabashed pattern, and luxe fabrics that she describes as “whimsical but classic”…. perfect for the sophisticated woman who is not afraid to be noticed.
Before I show you a few of my favorite pieces from her collection, let’s take a peek inside her stunning Virginia Beach home, as featured in the Palm Beach-based magazine, Muses & Visionaries.…
Jules’ fabulous home, which she decorated herself, has also been featured in Matchbook Magazine… Interior design is how Jules learned to mix different fabrics and patterns, which is so much of what her brand is about. “When you mix high quality with vintage finds, your home becomes special and unique to you,” she said to Matchbook. I am obsessed!
And now, here are a few images taken primarily from the Jules Reid Instagram and Facebook accounts which highlight my favorite pieces from her collection and her style…
The Jules Reid line is available for purchase through julesreid.com, Taigan, and trunk shows throughout the U.S. Jules is also looking to open a second boutique either in Palm Beach or West Palm Beach. “West Palm Beach has really stepped up their game,” she said. “I spend most of my time on South Dixie Highway in shops.” And if you love Jules Reid’s fabulous clothing line, stay tuned, as she will be expanding her lifestyle brand to include home goods within the next 18 months!

So much beauty in this post!
I love all the vintage Pucci! !And if you are too shy to wear the bold prints, a framed scarf looks amazing on the walls
