I cannot believe it is already Week Four of the One Room Challenge, created by Linda of Calling it Home. If you are just tuning in, please click over to Week One, Week Two, and Week Three to get caught up. Over a six week timeframe, 20 bloggers (including yours truly!) are transforming one room and posting our updates each Wednesday. I am decorating my home office, featuring Lilly Pulitzer’s personal desk purchased at auction in February.
Last week, I wrote about my bookcase styling issues, and I am so grateful for all of your sweet comments and suggestions! Styling a bookcase can be tricky, and there are a lot of varying opinions on how to get the job done… Several of you suggested declutering/editing, and several of you suggested I color code my books. My friend Junell from Seekers Bazaar even sent over this link from the fabulous Frances Schultz with the brilliant idea to create zen by turning books sideways! And finally, a LOT of you loved the Chinese porcelain on top, which in my book proves you can never have too much blue and white!
That’s about it for this week! Please head over to see what the other amazing ORC participants are up to… And you will want to visit Calling it Home again tomorrow for updates from the fabulous Linking Participants tomorrow!
